TREASURER'S REPORT
We have about $7849.50. Lots of cash is available, but we have some bills, so we don’t know how much money we have. We probably need some more, so send in your dues early.

PROJECT REPORT
- Hurricane Isabelle really hit the park hard and the mountain bikers are soooooooo sad. They have been out there in force cutting down trees and cleaning up the trails. Incredible work on their part. Maybe we should have asked the infamous park tree cutter Mark Romer to donate some time for cutting down more. He seems to like that.
- On November 20, IMBA is coming to try to teach someone something about building durable trails, even though we have too many now.
- We passed a motion for JROC to draft a letter to the city about the North Shore takeout. It is now in “committee” status.
- The penalty for illegal tree cutting by the infamous villain Mark Romer appears to be getting closer to resolution. The latest rumor is a fine of over $30,000, but how much of that can we get?
- 2nd street steps under the Robert E. Lee bridge Ramp to JROC’s bridge have been built by VCU art students (instead of the Architecture student...Watch your head!). Now that the real work is done, the city wants to take charge of the project.
- Steve Ensign and Greg Velzy claim they are finally going to put up the Eagle Donor plaque, but that’s been said before, so let’s see if it really happens.
- Adrian is bringing the JROC business cards to the next meeting Greg had the new decals, but whined about the colors and will see about getting them fixed.
- Brian Mutchler is still planning to write a letter to the city asking for a longer term on the high water permit
- Greg V, Rich Y, Adrian T and their boss, Susanne Smith are going to meet on rebuilding the pony pasture kiosk.
- Next project is to put up fencing near the JROC memorial bridge in Oregon Hill. Meet at the Tredegar parking Lot near Belle Isle October 11 10 AM.
